Westar
Satellite Services at Satcon
2007 September 2007
We are pleased to
announce that we will be present at
the Satcon exhibition, at the Javits
Center in New York. Visit us at
booth 905 between October 10-11 to
learn about the latest news about
our network expansion plans. We will
be showing the results of our recent
major investments and announcing
more ambitious projects.
Customer Survey Results August 2007
Westar Satellite
Services would like to thank all our
customers who participated in our
survey. And congratulations to
Shandy Arellano, the lucky winner of
the iPod!
We are working very
hard to improve and expand our services
based on the customer demands. An online
booking system was requested by most of
the respondents, and it has been already
implemented as our
Video Service Order.
We noticed some
confusion about Westar's offering,
therefore we have also created a
Westar Interconnectivity Directory (WID),
a printable list of the venues that
customers can use to access the
Westar Network, both on occasional
and full time basis.
And last but not
least, we have refocused our expansion
plans based on the survey results; the
network will grow where it is needed the
most. If you did not have the chance to
complete our survey, please do not
hesitate to
contact us with your needs; we may
be already working on bringing the
Westar network to your door.
Green Energy
for Westar
June 2007
Westar Satellite
Services is determined to help
preserving the environment for
future generations, and as part of
this effort it has chosen
Green Mountain Energy as its
energy provider for all its
facilities in Texas.
Electricity
generation in the U.S. causes more
carbon dioxide (CO2)
pollution each year than all the cars
and trucks on the road combined, hence
supporting the production of electricity
from renewable sources can make a
substantial difference in decreasing
pollution and long term environmental
damage. Green Mountain Energy guarantees
that at least 10% of the power consumed
by Westar comes from renewable sources,
and both companies are confident that
this percentage will increase in the
future as more wind farms and
hydroelectric plants are built.
The Westar team keeps growing
March 2007
The sales team at Westar welcomes Adit Parasuram, who will be joining us in March as the new Regional Sales Manager – Mid-Atlantic. After a successful career with Intelsat, Adit brings to the company significant experience in serving customers in the media an entertainment sector, an area of major interest to Westar.
“Customers have increasingly complex needs and Westar Satellite Services specializes in working closely with our clients to develop
custom-made solutions, with the flexibility
and agility of a small company", said Bill Cordo, Westar Satellite Services
VP of Sales. "Adit is well known for his dedication to the customer and is particularly keen on special projects; hence he is a perfect fit for the company and I am happy to welcome him on board.”
