Expands Core Fiber Network into
Chicago

Westar Satellite Services (“Westar”) announced an expansion of its core fiber optic network into the Chicago market to address customer requirements. Westar has expanded its core managed terrestrial network to 8 cities comprised of Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Waco, New York, Washington DC and Chicago, enabling seamless transmission of SD and HD video content throughout the US over terrestrial and satellite facilities. Westar offers satellite transmission facilities to customers from these on-net high definition capable facilities. “Westar works with its new and existing customers on a consultative basis to develop technical solutions and options that meets customer needs and future requirements.
